Planning a trip to sunny destinations like Bangkok, Bali, Dubai, or Hawaii? Korean Air’s Coatroom Service is back to make your winter travel lighter and more convenient. Starting December 1 and running through February 28, passengers departing on international flights from Incheon International Airport Terminal 2 (T2) can store one winter coat free of charge for up to 5 days. After the complimentary period, storage costs just 2,500 won per day—so you can travel light and enjoy your warm-weather adventure without the hassle of carrying bulky outerwear.
This year, the Coatroom Service is operating with updated locations to accommodate the ongoing Terminal 2 expansion project. Before the expansion wraps up in early December, passengers can leave their coats at the Hanjin Express reception desk near Counter K on the 3rd floor after completing their check-in. Once construction is complete, the coat storage service will move to the reception desk near Counter A on the same floor. Premium passengers, including first-class, prestige-class, and SkyTeam Elite Plus members, will have access to an expedited process at designated counters—C36 prior to the expansion’s completion and A32 afterward.
Retrieving your coat is a breeze. Simply present your storage receipt at the Hanjin Express store located next to Hana Bank on B1F T2, whether before or after the expansion. The service is available 24/7 for added convenience, ensuring you can store and pick up your coat anytime. For those using the premium counters, note that they are open from 5:30 AM to 8:00 PM, but the Hanjin Express reception desk operates around the clock.
Worried about additional costs? Korean Air has made it easy to pay storage fees after the initial 5-day period using your Sky Pass miles. With just 350 miles per day, you can enjoy the added convenience without dipping into your wallet. Starting December 1, you can redeem these miles through the airline’s website or app under the “Additional Services” section.
