How to get Sam Smith Concert Tickets in Seoul, October 9
Hooray! Sam Smith is coming to Seoul, October 9, 2018. And boo, tickets sold out within minutes of their release. But, don't worry you can still get concert tickets to impress your date and be serenaded by the beautiful spirals of Sam's musical grace. As with most hot concerts there are many resellers that have posted their tickets for sale on Ticketbay.com. Granted you'll have to be willing to pay a little extra for them, but they are available.
One thing you should know about reseller sites in Korea is that following-up on your purchase is important - especially since the tickets won't be sent out by concert promoters until late September. Resellers (AKA scalpers) are sensitive folks and are pretty much pros at the game and good at sensing buyer demand. Unfortunately, they have the ability to cancel their sales easily. This usually happens if they get a whiff that people are willing to pay more for the tickets they sold you. Not fair! Right? So as crazy as it sounds, here are three things you can do to decrease the chance of this happening.
Don't go for the cheapest tickets available. There is a higher chance these tickets will get cancelled and sold to a higher bidder later. Until you get your tickets, there is no guarantee even if you've paid for them. You can get your money back, but now you have to find another seller if you still want to go.
Go for resellers that have a higher rating and are not first time sellers. Again no guarantees here, but it's all about increasing your odds of getting tickets and not feeling let down later.
Follow-up by sending messages or calling the reseller directly on a semi-regular basis. This is a good way of building a relationship with the reseller so they are less likely to cancel. Be aware many of these sellers don't speak English, so it's best to communicate in Korean.
